Questions: The forces of Henry IV win the battle of Shrewsbury. Answer one of the following questions about Prince Hal:

1. Hal has a number of role-models in the play: Henry IV for political shrewdness, Hotspur for valor and Falstaff for adventurous self-gratification and wit. Does Hal change in the course of the play? And, by the end of the play, how well has Hal incorporated or rejected these three aspects of life in his own behavior?

OR

2. Who is the best man in the play and does he win? Be sure to state your criteria (such as bravery, generosity, consideration of others--or whatever) for what makes the best man. And be sure to give evidence of actions and speeches throughout the play to support your choice.
